Meet Mel- Your New Personal Trainer
Aloha, I’m Mel Austria and I am not your average personal trainer. I specialize in boxing/kickboxing basics, weightlifting/strength training, and creating programs tailored specifically to clients fitness goals. I myself am a powerlifter and I currently hold the Hawaii state record back squat in the 56kg weight class!
The fitness world is full of snake oil and charlatans wanting to sell you the latest and greatest, focusing on insecurities rather than individuals, selling you short term results rather than long term. With health and fitness, I truly believe that the devil is in the details and building it into a part of your lifestyle. I provide an approach that is not only fun and friendly, but is also physically challenging and informative. We will go over everything, lifestyle, physical health, mental health, bad habits, good habits, etc. so that we can create a workable program that is tailored directly to what you want to accomplish.
The gyms that I have coached and personal trained at(ILoveKickboxing, UFC Gym, Beastmode Fitness, etc.) I have helped many individuals succeed and surpass their original fitness goals with an evidence-based approach. Every individual is different and I would love the opportunity to chat about your goals and figure out what is going to help you succeed!

My Passion for Personal Training
I believe that fitness not only improves your physical and mental health but has the ability to improve your life as well. It changed mine for the better and now I am here to do the same for anyone willing to take those steps with me! All it took was one click of a button, one conversation with an amazing trainer, and the first step toward my first workout. I can happily say that it was the best decision of my life and I now have 5+ years of experience helping other people start their own fitness journey and make sure they find a workout program that is designed specifically to help them reach their goals! Fitness is amazing and personal training is exhilarating. There is no better feeling than being thanked for helping someone change their life.
